Professional Experience
Martin is a Tax Principal at Tauber & Balser, P.C. His extensive accounting experience includes corporate, personal and partnership income tax research and compliance. Well versed in gift and estate taxes, Martin helps Tauber & Balser, P.C. clients with their estate planning needs. His in-depth knowledge of pensions and other retirement planning vehicles allows Martin to advise clients on economically efficient means of providing employee benefits. He is also a skilled administrator of retirement plans. Martin’s technical expertise has proven invaluable in sorting through tax and accounting issues related to bankruptcy and debt restructuring.
As advisor to many individual families who own private companies, Martin provides guidance on issues concerning business operations, the preservation of individual and corporate net worth and the interrelationship between family members and non-family executives. His responsibilities to clients also include acting as part of a “think tank” in dealing with economic, business and family issues.
