SEC/NASD Investigative Matters
Issues often arise when typically
high dollar/volume producers either move to another firm or are recruited by a
competing firm. Instances of a broker
working a customer’s account sometimes brings with it expectations of growth
and value.

in both the development of and defense of these matters. Our Forensic Accounting Services Team has the
tools, experience and support available to identify and focus attention on the
key issues of a case. We can assist in
calculating damages due to:
- Broker
raiding or poaching
- Churning
- Loss
of account value
- Conversion
As forensic accountants, our investigative mindset and
understanding of broker/dealers and industry practices enables us to analyze
the documents that might either make or break the case.
As certified public accountants, we have a comprehensive
understanding of business operations that enables us to deal with highly
complex accounting, financial and technical issues in any industry regardless
of the severity or nature of the loss.
Our understanding of the financial, accounting and loss
issues that need to be addressed enables us to prepare or review a claim for
loss that will stand up in court or an NASD panel as fully documented, reliable
and verifiable to a reasonable degree of accounting certainty.
